Is that an overall statement or are you referring to a video in particular and in reference to the recording or the encoding, video quality has changed over the years as has camera recording quality and our video specs have changed a few times since way back when in 2004.

We receive submissions in a variety of formats, not everyone has a HD camera with which they can film with, although the number of HD submissions has been growing in the past couple of years which is great.
Currently we don't offer a HD option but it's on our list for the next site upgrade.
