OK. So I have to first admit that while all along I have loved the premise of BA -- I repeat -- loved the premise, I've had a hard time really getting into actually watching it. Tried a few and just felt like something was missing, or annoying, or unsatisfactory about seeing just a persons head and shoulders while they did things untold off screen.

Today, today all things changed. Mr. 2288 caught my eye when I signed on to make sure no one was still commenting around my overkill (don't worry no one is!). Maybe it's just the phase of the moon but every moment was so good. I love that you have no idea where it is. You are forced to make up where the green painted wall, whistling and voices and little bangs are coming from. You can see the change of pace on his face, the fight to keep things quiet, the beautiful rise and fall of the whole process. The alone moment in a space that feels just barley separated from the world moments away. Lost in space and place.

It's just so simple and so stunning.

This is a bit of a hi-jack, sorry ...

I have never seen a contributor post in the comments area and wish they did, and that there was a mechanism for knowing that ... Because of that, I was remiss in commenting on one of my Favs, something that has been now done since I now know you do check even if sporadically

Can't speak for 2288 as he is not female ... but I do like the BA concept, maybe because I can at least see something better than I can in IFM due to vision problems partly, but I just love watching the expressions, and listening to the sounds

Haha. Hijack accepted. It would be nice, particularly over at ISM, if there was some kind of comment notification thing. I am a tiny bit OCD so I check all things from time to time (and sometimes all the time)! As an aside the overkill stuff is really under-watched. Seems like there must be a way to direct more traffic there.

Go now. Check out overkill. It's a lovely little assortment of interesting things.

Oh, ... since the begin of BA theres no one overkill-contribution I havent seen and collected yet. Frequently I post overkill-comments on this forum.

Ummm ... Lauren ? ... Can you add that to my list of needs SVP ?

A neat way of doing it, if possible, would be merely to add the commenter's name/date/time to the OK comments, and post the actual comments plus date/time/name to a 3rd forum called Overkill's ... That way, all the comments are in one location and sorted and flagged just like normal forum posts ... one location, easy to see which OK got the comments ... My $.02 only ...

But I really do feel that the current system is causing me to miss comments and maybe even answers to questions I've posed (I didn't know Jane had posted and would never have seen it had she not said something) ... and with the number of OK's and potential answers it would be a full time job revisiting the comments as it stands as you would have to open and scan every one ...

I meant a subscribe to comments option being available on overkill posts that you have commented on.

Forum users can subscribe to threads and also add links to their favourite vids in the forum, it would of course be very handy to be able to have a drop down menu where members could search for a vid number and just automatically add the link through to the page.

Perhaps a recent comments list in the sidebar of overkill? Easy to find what is being said and on what posts. And also a check box in the comments section on overkill posts which allows you to subscribe to a post that you have commented on, sending you an email notification if someone replies to your comment?

And while I'm at it, who wouldn't love a search tool to be available for Overkill?

Ahhh ... forgot about the Subscribe ... I used to use it a long time ago but the notifications got lost under the tons of spam that hit my email ... I have subscribed to this thread so I can refresh my memory and see what happens.
I set up a rule in my email to send all my Facebook notifications to a separate folder to keep my inbox clean so maybe I will do the same here and for the OK comments should that get the same capability
