Ms 985, are you perhaps somehow related to that National geografic famous afghan girl (if you remember that photograph)? You have she same look in your eyes. Thank you for keeping them closed some of the time. Otherwise you could have pulled me into an irreversible trance, forever holding me under your spell.

Yes! I agree with you Tonning. I remember it's the photographer's Steve Mc Curry picture, June 1985 title issue of National Geographic. It shows an Afghanistan women completely hidden by a traditional burqua. In her hands she hold a photography of herself's young and beautiful face 17 years ago, before the Taliban Terror era.
Terrible! Some people of the world seams to prefer turn back to a prehistoric time of blood feud, suppression and slavery.

Sorry I must specify.
He shot the picture «woman with her face photography" 2002,
but the «face only» photography of her was shot in 1985.

What a terrifying picture, Uri.
I categorically refuse to see my self as lucky or privleged as compared to her.
As a free human beeing I live as humans ought to be abled to live. She's a slave.
The portrait likeness between ms 985 and the 1985 girl is more striking than I imagined from remembering the picture. The portrait likeness, however, seems to be the only likeness. I guess I remebered the look
in the girls eyes as it should and could have been and not as it really was or is, without the - if you pardon the
word - agony.
