FAO Lauren and/or Richard,
Well, I have been a continuous member of BA ever since I first stumbled across the site by accident way back in April 2004, and I have *almost* decided to finally take up the lifetime membership option. But before I hand over my hard-earned moolah, I wonder if you guys could set my mind at rest on a couple of points?
1) That the site will continue to be a going concern, i.e. there are no plans to shut it down after a certain period for whatever reason.
2) That there isn't likely to be some hugely significant change in creative direction.
3) Nosey question, but what future plans do you have for BA?
Apologies for the questions - I almost certainly already know the answers to the first two - but I would like to be absolutely sure before I make such a big commitment.

Bish (oh... the bishop of bath...AND WELLS.....), I discovered BA this past Saturday evening, quite by accident. I followed a link from somewhere to somewhere, saw a "billboard" for BA under an approved sites list, or maybe a sponsors acknowledgment, clicked it, and I was enthralled. I could NOT believe what I was seeing. I followed a few links, in fact, the only things I couldn't do was actually view the vids and post on the forum. I clicked the Join Now button and whipped out my credit card. Then I saw they had a lifetime membership for only $495 U.S.. OH, BOY!!!! I had no problems with this. Actually, once the transaction was complete, I was presented with a termination date in the year 2029. So, a 22 year membership.
Good enough for me. Hopefully I'll be dead before I hit 63. That will make it a TRUE lifetime membership. Later, CKB.

There must be a bug in the system, the Life memberships actually last 99 years. Or your money cheerfully refunded!
Bish, sorry but only just saw this post. At this stage we have no plans to change anything except things like improved functionality here and there. We have tried a weird experiment or two, the results of which will be for Overkill. That is always where we'll post the material which is a departure from the 'pure' site submissions.
And thanks for your ongoing loyalty!

Richard,
Sorry man, but that data I was given must have been on a previous page from the one I saved to my documents folder. I have the absolute final screen with screen-name, password, and I dont know what else. I seem to remember that the page where it told me the expiration date of my lifetime membership was the page giving me final details of my purchase, and awaiting me to push the last button for confirmation and the charging of my credit card.
I hope this narrows down the "bug" for you. Again, love the site !!!!!!

P.S.: If I forget to log out of BA or the forum, shut down my computer and come back HOURS later after re-booting, I find I am STILL logged on. Is this normal? I've never seen this happen before with a web-site. Usually with a dial-up connection I lost the log-in session when the connection dropped. Is this possibly a factor of my having switched to DSL ("always-on"? ? ? ? Thanks.

Hi Richard, thanks for the belated response!
Hi godcharles, welcome to the forum! There were only 40 or so vids on BA when I first joined all those years ago, I can't imagine what it must be like to be confronted with 950+, you must be in hog heaven. Re the login question; I might be wrong, but I think once you log on to the site you remain automatically logged in for seven days.

Bish (My lord it IS the baby-eating-bishop of bath and wells),
As a matter of fact, I AM in hog heaven. I discovered it last Saturday evening,
here it is Friday morning, and I've already downloaded ALL the female from 1-834, and all the male partners (that I could tell) of the females I'd downloaded. I should be done (the files are beginning to get BIG !!!!!) by tomorrow night, my one week anniversary. And I've only been able to watch up through 462. I start 2 downloading, then I start the next one in my watch queue. Can you tell I JUST got a DSL line after being on dial-up for the last 12 years??? I'm wondering if my provider is wishing I would go away...
RICHARD !!!!! Allow me to paste this from my "Your Agony" page:

There, it's official I found it listed ON the site. So, maybe that's where I saw it in
the first place. If you see this and look into it, please get back to me. If I dont hear from you in a week, I'll probably e-mail you directly.
Later all,
Charles
P.S.: If I go missing, I hope they dont find my genitals up a tree in Rutland !!!!!!

834 clips in less than a week! That's a whole lotta agony...........careful you don't go blind.
Don't forget to check out the Overkill section, plus of course the various Confessions. Do you have any favourites as yet?
Oh and my lifetime membership also says a similar thing:

Bish (Naw!!! That were the Earl o' Duncaster!!!),
I'm just NOW looking at the date on your 1st post on this topic, and I see it's been sitting there for a few months. How long have you actually had your membership? I guess you got it in July, right after you posited your querys.
Oh, well. They probably HAVE to give a shorter than life-time expiration date for legal reasons. That's my theory for now. Anyway, gotta go to work in a few hours. Time for a cat-nap. I'll get back to you directly about my favorites after I've got all the vids AND OKs dl'd. But I do have some notes here:
288-Gorgeous!!
303-Extreme Screamer!!
363-Vocal!
388-Vocal REDHEAD!!!
458-VERY PRETTY !!!
Ciao for now, CKB....

I first joined the site a few months after it first appeared, in April 2004. Since I was pretty much a permanent member from that point on, I eventually got myself a Lifetime membership in July this year.
288-Gorgeous!!
One of my absolute all-time faves as well. She reminded me of a young Rachel Weisz. :swoon:
Yay! 400 posts!

Not guilty, yer Honour.
If my expiry date is showing 1969 (for whatever reason), does that mean I might have problems logging into the site?
