We Brits can't criticise you Fedor1.  We kept Margaret Thatcher in office for 18 years.

You mean we kept the Tories in office for 18 years.

Thatcher was PM for the first eleven (79-90), Major for the last seven (90-97).

I wonder how long the old battleaxe would have carried on for, if she hadn't been stabbed in the back by her own party?

If the moderators introduced a strict "no digression" policy I'd probably get bored and stop posting.  Such a policy stifles ideas.  It is facistic. We should have freedom of expression (as long as we keep within the boundaries of accepted rules of debate of course).

It reminds me of something that Thomas Paine said................................

So, Ms. 448, tell us about that "fsck".  Was it because you knew it was a train you were _about_ to get hit by or was it becase _at that moment_ the train hit you.    To switch to a rollercoaster metaphore, did you say "fsck" at the top of the rise when you could see how far you would fall or some where during the fall (reaching maximum velocity or maximum g-force)?

You what? I know this forum is for the more wordy guys (and gals) but even so.  Ok I guess you're asking at what point it was along the whole orgasm curve that prompted the swearing.  I am not going to go with the roller coaster metaphor because I don't like them very much.  Roller coasters not metaphors.  I guess it's at the point when you are just about to peak because after that intelligible speech becomes difficult and or unecessary. Hope that's clearer now, doesn't everyone have their own foibles about this point? (see the crying laughing discussions)
