Like many others here, I've never paid for any kind of erotica online before now. This site provides a medium for sexuality that isn't traditionally seen, which drew my eye. I also enjoy viewing the confessions section. Being an owner of The Hite Report, I think this site offers rewarding informational material as well as erotic, often concurrently.
While impressed with the site's many innovative ideas, I was put back by talk of material diverging into separate websites. To me, what made this site novel (besides the confessions section) was the capturing of sexuality on video while not showing nudity. That idea alone is what grabbed me for a subscription. However, in order to keep me and others with similar expectations, I'll expect to see more innovations. This does not include taking innovations and moving them to other websites so that we are expected to add to our subscription costs. I would rather stick to one site for convenience anyway. After all, I thought the overkill section was for nontraditional agonies. That seemed the perfect spot for full body agonies and other creative agonies.
Also, Ruby detailing her behavior while masturbating was excellent. Though, like many other members, I was disappointed when the camera frame became limited. This seemed completely unnecessary. The mention of a future car agony also seemed interesting. Although not in overkill, I also liked #0267, the lesbian masturbation, different and nice. I think that if anything tapping into overkill's potential would only enhance BA's integrity. You also still have your traditional section. As long as you hold true on the non nudity, you are still offering a service that no one on the internet offers; you're not overlapping anyone and customers have just you to look to.
Other expectations:
- Lower camera shots on agonies: She can keep her bra on; I'd just like to see her arm moving. I know some agonies have a male helper, so not only is it more erotic to see her arm movement, but it's also nice knowing she's doing everything herself.
- Limited background noise: Let's admit it. Hearing all those extra sounds is really nice.
- No partitioned entries on overkill: Unless you're really in a dry spot for overkill submissions, there's no need to have us wait. Its one thing to do it to help out those unfortunate enough to have dial-up and another entirely simply to keep us hanging. We've already paid; theres no need for a cliffhanger.
I hope this wasnt too critical. The reason I posted or joined at all for that matter was because I was so impressed. The forum here seems a perfect space for requests as well, a small sidetrack from the majority traditional agonies (all very nice agonies, too). Sorry for the length and while I know I don't speak for everyone, I can see from other entries that these topics are not new.

Agreed whole heartedly.
When I heard the full body agonies would be another site I thought - well I'll never see those again.
I realize what it costs to keep up a site like this but do we really need to basically charge someone double or more just to see what we are seeing here? I don't need the nudity - if I did I would have chosen whatever that alternate and VERY pricey site is but I was there for one week and said no thanks - I love the intimacy of this site and have turned ALL my male friends on to it and sincerely hope to someday see their wives here (Grin)

No, we charge what we charge here, to see what you see here. What on earth are you talking about?

Hey Aaron, welcome to Agony. I'm holding up things here while the girls take some time off.
We split overkills because most people can't downlaod 100M files in one go - and our server would probably have a hernia when we released them. Note that in the case of Ruby this is all bonus content as we are still releasing weekly Overkills.
There has been much debate about the full body agonies but (and Jo will vehemently support me on this!) it's not what we set the site up for and if we made it a regular feature, it would erode the credo of the site. However it has been popular so I decided to start another site, which has an altogether different intention.
Whether the full body material was to be shown on this site or another, it would raise costs. So I don't accept that anybody's value is compromised bu this. On the contrary, those who are against FBA would surely not want a price increase so we can support the others.
Incidentally since we moved off our intrioductory pricing well over a year ago now, the release schedule on Agony has more than doubled and the image size has increased. And of course the archives have increased by four-fold or more. So I won't accept any criticisms that FBA fans will have to pay more to join another site.
We are discussing ideas for more interesting content on Overkill. We used to do vox popos but they didn't seem very popular. If you or anyone has any ideas - which don't involve nudity - we're all ears and lenses.

Well... I trust you have come across this input of mine.
It just wasn't directly presented to the captain for consideration, so maybe a subtle link to it won't be out of context here.
(I personally think that this idea could even deserve a site of its own. You know, like those sites with nude newsreaders...)

Issue with the opening the link: For me it doesn't position properly. I end up at the top of the page unless I open it in a new window.

Richard:
I echo your "nonacceptance" that FBA fans will HAVE to pay more to join another site. The choice remains to opt for membership at one site or the other.
I am also encouraged that you all are considering making the overkill section more interesting. While I don't know what in the world is on the talbe at BA headquaters, non-nude FBA's would be good. Something similar to the one that started this whole wave in the first place. Beyond that, I'll leave it up to you to figure out what else could make that section more interesting. Bona Sera!!

Very good, I can see that things are moving. New ideas, evolution, keep on, BA is on the right track.

Yes, the Stay Composed Game! I loved that idea!

How about a section where only members can post and agony, hmmmm? Say, you can't get into that section unless you post something yourself. Create a password for that section only. Kinda of a room within a room. A sort of V.I.P. section.

While reluctant to not being able to see more FBA's, I think I may see what you're getting at. I'm guessing that the site as is (w/o FBAs) comes across as possibly more artistic and erotica-like as well as provides for an audience that is unaddressed by other sites. I suppose my only counter would be that, as member of the population that other websites don't address, I also found the FBA's to be artistic and under the definition of erotica and didnt feel the site would lose integrity adding FBAs.
Although, if you saw a market for a site dedicated entirely to FBA's, then I can see how you would want to have separate sites. However, I would still consider another site as a last resort. I suppose the reasoning for me to say that would be to consolidate the integrity of the site into one place as well as providing more material for subscribers. On the other hand, I understand that adding more material to your site would add expense.

I have to give it to you, for the price you have a great deal. Your standing rates are perfect. It works out to us paying around a nickel a clip here. I suppose its even more of a deal for those that are bisexual. Another question to be raised is whether you can still get equal or more subscriptions by having one site versus two sites. Could you get more people by attracting them to the same place instead of two? If you are able to keep the working structure of the site (assuming to allow FBAs), I would be pleased as a member. FBAs could also increase the variability in options for future Overkills.
Regarding Overkill, I think you have a lot of room for potential there. What youre doing now honestly doesnt add much most of the time. Videos with better picture and the bloopers, like you mentioned, werent that exciting. Also, do the veterans need to go in that section? You could probably just put a text note at the beginning of the clip to let people know who has previous agonies. I can see uncut agonies going outside the traditional area just to help out those poor dial up people, although uncuts may deserve a lesser preference in order to put less redundant material in Overkill. You may even consider a separate section. Your simple layout is nice and flexable in that you have the ability to add more while not appearing cluttered. I was actually surprised the girl duo wasnt in the Overkill section. The bathtub faucet BA also appeared appropriate.
As far as ideas for Overkill, I think many people have begun contributing. To start, right now Overkill seems almost all encompassing and quite ambiguous in definition; there seems to be a lot of overlap between traditional and Overkill right now. Some ideas I saw mentioned were pillow humping, keeping composure while reading and masturbating (maybe a guess which one is masturbating?), intercourse, race to orgasm, vocalizing techniques while masturbating, more off the street interviews, more duos (trios?), or a video depicting a thigh squeezing orgasm (what a gift it would be to be able to do that!). Maybe an administrator could make a post directly asking for Overkill suggestions. Without occasional innovations, at the very least variety with camera angles, the site offers little long term interest for many individual members. Personally, if the site divides and little changes with the site, I will probably wait some time before subscribing for another month. However, I hope that doesn't take away from the fact that I am quite impressed with the idea of BA.
I have three other quick suggestions:
-First, I noticed someone mentioning a poll. To get an idea of how your members feel on FBAs compromising the integrity of the site, this may not be a bad way to go, or at least to weigh into thoughts you already have. You could also put use of a poll on the backburner for future ideas.
-Second, have you considered placing an ad in Playboy and Playgirl magazine? Maxim, maybe? Because your site has no nudity, there may be other magazines you might try that may not come to mind initially. They may also say no, but it doesnt hurt to try. It might be a decent way to get publicity.
-My third suggestion is possibly more sentimental. I think you should make an entry on BA at Wikipedia. That would be a good way to define yourself. Who knows? Because the idea of BA is so novel, maybe you can pull sexuality into a better light. I think your site offers a positive image of sexuality and sets a good example. It sure seems like repressed times in the US at least. Odd how violence can be more accepted than sexuality.

Wow. I think this is probably the first time I've ever jumped right in before even finishing reading the rest of today's new posts. That last point is part of what makes BA so exciting!!!
I definitely concur with the wikipedia suggestion! Beautiful Agony is redefining sexuality on the web, and probably has more of a following than most famous cults (no implied connection there , just that if movements like that get their pages of explanation, this site should too). It belongs in a place of reference like that.
And while I'm sounding off on that, I may as well add that I remember the first Overkill. It was almost 15 minutes long. When they said overkill, they weren't kidding! The basic idea hasn't really changed, but it's easy to forget that it wasn't always as similar in content to the main part of the site -- with repeat contributors and unedited original submissions -- as it is now. I generally like how the Overkill section has come along so far, but I do like the ideas for new categories. The "veterans" and the entries that are videos but not agonies deserve their own labels, at least. And speaking of category labels, is there any reason the most recent videos are getting labeled as "news?"
Finally, glancing at the second of your (Aaron17) three quick suggestions as I write, I'd like to add that I don't think formal advertising would be appropriate. It's all about word of mouth, and the occasional news story. The only way to carry the cost of such advertising would be to pass it on to us members, and that would compromise a big strength of this site.
