I know these folks are masturbating but I don't find myself getting turned on at all - and I don't want to be. I'm hypnotized & spellbound, and this without Phillip Glass.

Spellbound, hypnotized....it's good.

Women, I gather, generally need much more than simple visual stimulation to become aroused.
I am curious however Kelly, what is it about watching people masturbate that puts you in this hypnotic and spellbound state????? Moreover, do you derive some sense of pleasure then from finding yourself in such a state?

What else can I say besides a quote from "When Harry met Sally"
I'll have what she's having.

Fascinating. My experiences with obscure films have been mixed, but I think I'll have to check out that one. Definitely heard of that Glass guy, though.
Yeah, some of these clips don't really do much for me, but some I could watch over and over. I do believe as well that it's healthy, somehow . . . .

I always thought that for someone seeing another getting sexually aroused, that will trigger the same reaction for the spectator. It's true most of the time for laughing, for eating, for having fun, for being gloomy, for showing passion... That's why we go to the movies. It's to somewhat get in the same mood than the actors or identify with them. Tell me if I am wrong.

I imagine that it is very situation-specific. For example, I've been seasick on a hydrofoil and completely fled the group eating smoked fish in a state of nausea so bad I couldn't eat the whole day afterwards (honestly, who eats smoked fish in three meter ocean swell?!). At other times, the smell of baking bread can really strengthen hunger pangs.
If you are already aroused, then seeing a partner aroused is likely to intensify things. If you are not, and someone around you is, it might be construed as threatening, silly, boring, a complete turnoff, or inappropriate, depending on the situation. At least, this is my experience.

Well, some female contributors on this forum said clearly that they were aroused when looking at the agonies (male or female). I wonder then why kelly tubgirl jones joined this site after I suppose having watched at some free samples. Seems to be a waste of time and money.

Only if she is *just* looking for arousal. But in this world there is (for gods sake!) more than just one possible reason...

Reasons like what Jo ?

It's hard to explain why I interpret these the way that I do. Maybe has to do with the stillness and silence of the frame. When you hold your gaze on any object your mind begins to wander beneath the surface of that object/image, and for me that allows me to read their faces like lines of haiku.
I can see their souls dancing.
If this admittedly cryptic answer is insufficient then the best answer I can give is: who knows!

I can't explain it better than kelly did it herself...

I think there are a thousand reasons why people join BA: Arousal, real orgasms, the "different" concept, the no-nudity-philosophy, the art-aspect, the stillness of the frame, the possibility to look beyond the visible, the touch of heart, ...
What bothers me, is the always happening reappearance and repetition of the same (sorry folks: boring) sexual reasons. I am aware that some people may think this IS all what counts, I for my part do not.
And Kelly: I do not find your answer cryptic in any way! (and thanks for the dance...)

Jo, I don't know what stuff Kelly tubgirl jones has smoked but she should bring it to the Xmas party.

Some people need stuff to smoke to experience things different, others don't.
I think she doesn't.

I agree with you JoJo. Variety is indeed the spice of sex-life!

Now there's some holiday cheer!
Yes, GB & Jo (and Kelly), I'm in agreement, too. Joining Agony for -- and seeing in it still -- more than just sexual reasons, well, maybe we're the ones smoking something!
I, for one, am never ashamed at seeing the world through the twisted prisms of poetry and such -- just often at a loss for words! (a tasty irony, that)
