I won't do that, because I don't have any skin color preference. I'm sorry if I suggested that I do. If you're asking me if I'm a racist (in any definition of the word), then I must tell you that I'm not, and I'm kind of saddened by the suggestion. The discussion here was if #288 and Alexa was the same person. I thought they looked kind of the same, but that they (at least to me) don't look so much alike to conclude that they are the same girl. Like I said in one of my earlier posts, I couldn't really tell specifically what the difference between them were, but that there definately was a difference. I thought that the expression "ethnic quality" was an ok way of describing the difference between them, not a way of saying "I like #288 better because of her 'ethnic quality'". They're both beautiful girls, they just aren't the same person.

I got the impression that you felt that my earlier post seemed racist when you posted

I think you mean "Alexa" is more "exotic" as some would use the word. I was skepticle about 288=Alexa. My skeptism was right, I guess. Still, both beautiful young women.

I am glad to hear that you are not. But many people use the term 'ethnic' to mean non-white and/or non-European: I mean, how silly is that? Everyone has an ethnicity, but you can't tell what it is by looking at them. All you can tell is whether their skin type is Nordic, Mediterranean, Central Asian etc

salsasalsa: Yes, everybody has an ethnicity, and I was merely agreeing to the fact that Alexa does seem to have a different "ethnic quality" (the operative word being "quality" ) than ms. #288. I guess some of us connect different skin types to certain ethnicities. And as silly as that may be, I think most people would understand what someone meant by it, and not attribute any kind of racial prejudices to that someone.

edit: I just thought about how Alexa or ms. #288 would react to this discussion if they read it...

For Alexa and #288 they look to be the same girl if you see the shape of the eyebrows. As a model some make up can make that some differences show up.

After I've seen the set of Cat (solarized) in ISM, I'm convinced that #0288 is not Alexa. Alexa nad Cat are indeed different girls which look very similar. The similarity of them, however, is amazing!

Amazing thing, first glance impressions. On first glance: Yes, 288 is Alexis - but then again n o , the eyebrows do not fit, neither does the mouth. I've only seen the small photograph on the front page, though. With Cat and 288 it was the other way round. On first glance god, no, but then again yes - the mirror-one of her streched out in bed convinced me.

"288 lacks the ethnic quality that Alexa has" was only meant to describe their perceived difference, NOT as a statement on the superiority of any specific race. And "ethnic quality," admittedly a poor term, would have been better stated as "exotic." Apologies.

BTW, I'd bet the farm that 288 is Cat on ISM and not Alexa.

Yes, you're quite correct Jakeview, Alexa is merely an uncanny lookalike. 0288 goes by the name Cat on ISM and Vanessa Y on AbbyWinters.

I think I'll just skip over the dozen or so budding ideas I've had for responses to what now fills the first three pages -- things ranging from wisecracks to late-night style semi-intellectual drivel. Taking it a step further, I think that type of appreciation (sentimental, romantic, humanistic, perhaps even artistic, or whatever you want to call it) should be strongly encouraged, especially among men. That's the sort of thing that's truly lacking. It's the reality-based antidote to the facade of machismo. It's exactly what so many of us who are drawn to BA, ISM, and AW find severely lacking in most of the rest of the world of pornography.

If anyone has any doubts of this, just ask yourselves: What, really, are we training ourselves to do by absorbing so enthusiastically what we find here? How are we training ourselves to think? When I see a beautiful woman on the street or in a car or at the grocery store, I want to think about her in a way becoming of my own dignity as a man.
