Anyone else agree that the zipped MPEGS need to come back?
Offline
I asked about this during the beta test; well, about the zip files at least. The response I got was that video files don't compress very much so the saving in size was minimal at best. I can certainly understand the folks at BA not wanting to waste CPU time on something that doesn't save much.
Now, as far as MPEGs go, well, I personally don't care because I use either a WinXP box or a Mac for viewing this site. I suppose some folks out there might have a hard time with .wmv or .mov files but let's face it: They're probably a very small percentage of BA customers (and of the general population) that again, I can see the folks at BA not wanting to spend time and effort on something with so little return.

As I mentioned it earlier in a post, it's a good idea to have more than one browser. I found out that Netscape (and Quick time) was doing the job very well for BA now. Before I was using Safari (for MAC only). I hope this can help.
