Marvelous! The Video Still (Quicktime 00:04:12) of doday's 0374 remembers me to Gianlorenzo Bernini's "The blessed Ludovica Albertoni" 1671. It's really a Beautiful Agony.

Uri, well spotted! And thanks for extending my (our) education. In fact BA images from the start have often reminded me of Bernini's 'Ecstasy of Saint Teresa' (1647-52) -- but somehow I had no idea that he'd returned to the theme two decades later.
You can find Teresa images all over the web, for instance via Web Gallery of Art index <http://www.wga.hu/index.html>
Somewhere I've read a story about a noted rake and roue of the period, who on seeing that of course entirely religious and spiritual sculpture for the first time studied it carefully and appreciatively, then said drily 'Hmmm: if THIS is divine possession I have seen it often.'
p.s. Note the angle of the angel's arrow!
