Error in numbering ???

Hey A_A or any other admin

# 5271 was used last Tuesday and the uploads for Aug 10th may have screwed things up...
There are now 2 males with the same number and that duplication and out of sequence number may now dcrew up the numbering for this week's females...

Just an FYI

If you do a search for 5271, you get a screwed up answer...

Hi ash,

There doesn't seem to be any duplicate numbers on the site like you've said, and I did the search for A5271 and it finds the gentleman out in nature just fine. The male after A5271 is A5274, and the number sequence is as per usual if you click on the "classic" view .

Do you still have this problem with the numbering?

A_A Are you playing games with me? because, if you are not, and you didn't fix anything,
then you do have a serious gremlin problem...

I saw exactly what I described, I saw the Aug 10 files numbered as 5271, and I saw a different 5271 for Aug 3rd...

When I typed in 5271 to search for that number, I got a page and the top 4 Thumbnails were from left to right,
5271 5273 5272 5271 with the left one being aug 10 and the right aug 3

When I logged on tonight, I saw 5174 and thought you had fixed it...

I can't explain what I saw last night except that is what I saw...
and if I was wrong, I would fess up...

Ashmedi we're working on it...the original programmer is no longer with us and the code which numbers the videos is very complex. When we started publishing the Confessions a week before their Agonies, that exposed some problems. Expect more anomalies, but expect them to also be fixed. Thanks for pointing them out, it helps!

To reassure you, I saw the duplicate 5271 as well, so you were right in what you saw! I can only assume it was fixed some time between your post and A_A's and there was a bit of a misunderstanding but I hope all's well now.

Thank you vantirra I am so glad to see your post and know that someone else witnessed what I saw... I was beginning to doubt my own mind... Thanks for letting me know I am not completely crazy

Sorry for all the inconvenience, I was unaware of the issue when it happened but we are working together to resolve the bugs now. And you are not crazy, ash. Your help is always appreciated here at BA HQ. Thank you for finding the gremlins, even if they play tricks and then quickly hide shortly after.

Don't worry about it A_A I was seeing that duplication for almost 24 hours, and was confused when you said you couldn't see it, and it was gone, and you didn't say you fixed it... So I was doubting my sanity until Vamatrra confirmed he/she saw what I saw... It's all good, not to worry...
