Why Agony?

I find myself feeling curious about our members motivations, especially in the broader context of paying for subscriptions to the Agony site.

If you could take a moment to indulge me, I'd be grateful.

Why did you join beautiful agony?
What drew you in?

I can go first if you like, I'm Agony #0220 & I still think Agony is one of the coolest & most original erotic spaces online.

I was 19 when I first filmed my clip, 20 when it was published & I'm about to turn 36 - I listen to Confessions much more than watching the orgasm clips, I am studying sexuality, so I find people's experiences with masturbation intensely interesting & informative.

Sure, some of the confessions are really interesting and entertaining, but I wouldn't subscribe just for those. If I need stress relief I go straight to the agonies, if you get my drift.

What I particularly like about BA is that it adds mystery to porn. We all know exactly what's happening down there, but there is still plenty to guess and fantasise about. I find a woman's face working towards agony extremely arousing, but the fact that you can't actually see what she's doing doubles the pleasure. Is she using her fingers or a toy? Is anyone helping her? What does her body look like? The occasional nip slip is a bonus, but I certainly wouldn't want that to become a fixed feature.

Just to give you one example, Lady A2163 has a lovely contribution; pretty lady out in nature having a satisfying wank. But in her confession she says she was out there with friends who knew exactly what she was doing, sitting 5 meters away with their back towards her while keeping an eye on the road. I can't quite remember where I first heard of BA, it may have been Liandra Dahl raving about it on her blog or on AbbyWinters. Been an on-and-off subscriber in the past but with the video quality constantly improving I'm now ready to stay on as long the site exists (i.e. hopefully forever!).

What do I love about BA? First and foremost, it's that BA attracts exactly the kind of women that I find highly arousing - not your mainstream porn star, but the smart girl next door type who has lots of interesting and sexy things to say, and is often also stunningly pretty but may not be up for a full-body naked shoot. Faces (particularly eyes) also happen to be my biggest turn-on and there's nothing like watching a beautiful girl's face going through the different stages of arousal all the way to orgasm. The mystery element penguin refers to above is also part of the fun, though I don't at all mind if a contributor ends up shooting for IFM as well.

I can't remember how I came to BA, but I immediately found it fascinating. I love the variety (of people, locations, and ways that they masturbate). I like the combination of Confessions and Agonies. I don't think that if it were just Confessions or just Agonies it would be nearly so effective. What I mean is that the combination is much greater than the sum of its parts. I personally prefer to watch the Confession first, and learn about the individual and her/his history, then watch the Agony and listen to the sounds to help imagine how they are doing it. I also love to find that there is a fully nude shoot on IFM to see how the reality compares to my imagination. In the same way, at IFM, I like to watch profile videos and any lucubrations before seeing the nude masturbation shoot or shoots. I hope this helps, Hyperballad.
