Subscription expired notice

My annual subscription expired today and I had to re-subscribe.  In the subscription instructions, I was encouraged to choose one of the re-billing options because it was cheaper.  Can you tell me which re-billing option is cheaper than the one-time annual option?

The annual option is the best value.

Thanks, I thought so ... but the re-billing suggestion is confusing;  why would you suggest changing to a different option to save money when my current option was already the best value?
