Problem with the Video Player

I'm using a Windows 7 PC using Firefox and the MP4 player...

I have mentioned this "problem" in other threads but never saw any answer...
In the old days, before the server location changed, and with the older players, the player default volume setting was the last setting I used, and was always at about 10% of the distance...

But the new players automatically default to Maximum volume for every video viewed which is a pain...
I have looked at the settings and can't see any way I can influence it to play at a softer level...

Can this be changed back to what it used to be? or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Ashmedi, Have you ever tried Google Chrome on this site ? It's the cat's meow. I used Internet Explorer here for years with no problems until the last server change, then I had all kinds of problems. I went to Chrome and have never looked back. You can use your mouse to maximize and minimize, pause, and play. and it's fast.

Hey Ranger
I just tried Chrome again to compare BA
I do like the very simple quick toggle between Full Screen and normal better than Firefox...
But Chrome also defaults to Maximum volume for every video played regardless of the last used setting...

Is it possible that I'm the only one who gets Max volume?
