Cheapest Recommended Camera

Yo yo!

I'm extremely interested in submitting content of my own. Only problem is is that I don't normally record videos, so I need help with buying the right camera.

Since I don't really expect to use the camera much in the future, I'm really just wanting the cheapest possible option to record myself and have acceptable video and audio.

If anyone has any recommendations, it would be very, very much appreciated!

If it's not something that you're not really going to use again is there someone you could borrow gear from?

Better yet, just go hire a camera. Not sure where you're from but I hired a HD camera in December for a day & it was really inexpensive.

Go for something like a Canon Legria HFG25 - just make sure if you hire/borrow that there's an external mic!

Depends on the rental place & your refractory period, but you might even be able to get away with a half day rental
