Log In Procedure - 6/15/18

Well, 7 days after my last post, it happened again...

When I got to the site, I had an option to Log Out, therefor I was logged in...
When I tried to play a video, I was logged out and told I had to log in...
This was expected as it always happens after 7 days...

But...  When I clicked in the box, I immediately got a 3 by 3 grid puzzle.
The instructions were not clear and I failed.
That caused a 4 by 4 grid puzzle...
The instructions were clear, but the images were so small and blurry, I clicked a wrong box and failed again...
That caused a 3 by 3 grid puzzle to open...
Once again the images were so blurred, it was hard to answer, and I got lucky with the guess...

This is now 2 weeks in a row that I have had to deal with these small blurry images to log in...
Is this going to happen every week now?

Hey ashmedi..If your having a problem with seeing the images in the puzzle you do have an option to do an audio puzzle. When that grid of images pops up theres a few small icons at the bottom, one of which looks like headphones. When you click on that it brings up the audio puzzle. It speaks out a phrase of words or numbers that you then type into the box to be able to log in.

I have never noticed the audio and will keep it in mind for next time if there is a next time...
But I will say that over the years on numerous sites, I have tried the audio puzzles numerous times and I have yet to get one right... I don't know what language they use, but it sure as hell isn't English...

I can't say why that's happening Ashmedi but I use XP on a couple of my machines and I rarely get the puzzle.  You are logged out weekly because that's how we set the cookie.

I can't say why that's happening Ashmedi but I use XP on a couple of my machines and I rarely get the puzzle.  You are logged out weekly because that's how we set the cookie.

I understand the weekly forced login and the rationale behind that change which started some time ago, and I've always been able to login by clicking the box to confirm I am not a robot and then clicking in with my userid and password... It's only the last 2 weeks that it throws the picture puzzles at me the moment I click that box...

My concern is mainly that my vision problems will, at some point, cause enough errors that I get locked out... Maybe I am being overly paranoid and that won't happen, but the possibility worries me...

This is the 3rd week in a row I have had to solve the graphic puzzle to login...
Failed twice because I couldn't see the small images before getting lucky...

I really don't know why it's happening - for some reason Google isn't convinced you're a genuine human.  They don't publish how they determine human behaviour but it's probably a combination of things, including mouse movement.

This is just an update Diary Entry for the last 3 Fridays plus today...

6/29/18 - Took 2 picture puzzles to login, and I know I solved the first one, it was a gimme...

7/6/18 - Only had to answer one picture puzzle, relatively a simple one...

7/13/18 - had trouble that week, think it took me five tries before I could login...

7/20/18 - Clicked the box expecting a picture puzzle to show up, didn't get one today...

I find this bizarre... There were no changes to my system before the initial problem 7 or 8 weeks ago, and I have made no changes to my antique system since the problem surfaced...

So, what does anybody think will happen next Friday?
More picture puzzles? or am I now good to go again?

I should run a pool on this
