Uri, I don't know where you are but in Canada where I am there is no problem...
Between where you are and the BA servers, there will be anywhere from 10 to 30 different servers routing the traffic and if any one bogs down, it will cause a ripple effect... Sooner or later, somebody somewhere will notice the problem and fix it..
There's not much you can do about it except ride it out... In the past when I have had prblems, it has lasted from 3 days to 2 weeks... Frustrating, but part of life...
I assume your own equipment does not have a problem and other sites are responsive... If not, the problem may be with your own hardware or your ISP...

Whole the other sites are ok. Download on IFM site is fast as always. It seems to be just a BA problem. I use the newest iMac technologies. So I wait, and hope ((and read "Charlie Hebdo")).

I'd be willing to bet the IFM servers are not even physically close to the BA servers... On any given day, I can get pathetic download speed from any of the 3 Feck sites while the other 2 are just fine... Last week I couldn't even get photos from ISM to download, and I'm not talking the zip file, I'm talking one pic after another, that problem corrected itself after 3 days, but while simple jpg's were hanging, large downloads from BA and IFM were just fine... The odds favor routing servers as the problem...
And while you are using the newest iMac technology, I am trapped in time, and still using an old PC clone running Windows XP

I still have an old 2000 vintage windows XP machine for a spare, ( I should throw it out ) It's almost unusable with todays internet. It only has 512 ram.
On the other hand I do occasionally have problems with freezing or slow to load on this site with Windows 7, but, time usually straightens it out as Ashmedi says.

Too bad. I still have the same problem, I can’t download the MP4 139MB anymore, too slow, two hours download-time and finally damaged.
It’s really a pity, after so many years without problems, I’m member since begin of the BA site, with one year membership, I can’t watch the contributions no longer.
What a fucking server is involved now!?

I don't know what to tell you Uri... If it was a site problem everybody would be complaining, not just you... Have you asked your ISP to verify that your modem isn't having a problem?
And now that I think of it, Have you rebooted ALL your own equipment? Computer, Modem, Router ???
I do have to periodically clear bad settings by Full power down of everything...
Bring them back on line slowly, first the cable or DSL modem, then your router, and lastly the computer...
I don't know where are, but I'm in Canada, across the ocean from where I think the BA servers are located, and I have no problems with my near antique hardware...

The whole equipment is OK. By all the other internet sites, the download is fast and impeccable. It’s just only a Beautiful Agony site problem. Must be a trouble from the US server.

Uri... Just because other internet sites work fine doesn't necessarily rule out your hardware as a potential fault... Every internet site you connect to travels a different route hopping through different servers to get to your location... Both Modems and Routers store information and routing tables and the only way to ensure they are clear of bad info is to power the units down, unplug connecting co-ax and patch cables, wait 10 minutes, and then power the modem back on waiting 10 minutes before connecting it to the router, then power the router back on and wait 10 mins before connecting the computer by patch cable or turning on the computer so it can receive new correct data...
Even the stored cookies from BA could cause a problem so all cookies may need to be wiped to get new...
And the only reason I'm saying all that is that it has happened to me in the past... Good luck...
Oh, and I just remembered another time I was having trouble and had tried everything, I just bought a new router as a gamble, and just like that, my problems were over... But this would be the last thing you might try with your hardware... and obviously these are just suggestions... Just because they fixed my problems is not a guarantee they will solve yours...

After I’ve exactly done all this, it’s still the same problem, nothing is better. I don’t know how to fix that problem, seems to be out off my technical capabilities.

Have you filed an actual Help Desk form with BA?
You can refer to this thread when you describe your problem... Maybe Richard or Tech Support has an answer, Maybe they can point you to a different server if there is one... I know IFM has the ability to switch locations to different servers, don't know anout BA tho.
In the Help Desk form make sure to tell them all the pertinent info as to hardware, software, OS, Browser, whether cable or DSL, maybe even who your ISP is, and also your physical location ... Good luck, I can feel your pain...

the ba servers are still slow
in BA i never reach a download speed above 1000MB, it usually is around 700/800 MB
uploaded a testfile (its a confession) to zippyshare
http://www48.zippyshare.com/v/8mFsfyZe/file.html
this one comes to me with a downloadspeed of above 4000mb
downloading from BA takes ~20 sec from zippy ~3 sec
and its just a small file
you do the math for a long hd-file of about 400mb
is there any solution for increasing the downloadspeed?
greetings, george

I am also having very very slow download speeds.
The 'Your Agony' page tells me I have downloaded 10+gb this month and I was wondering if there was some sort of cap on how much you could download at first...because my dl speeds were consistently +1mb/s but are now throttling at 10kb/s, but that just an assumption. Anyone had similar problems?
