I have made this comment before, and I'll make it yet again. The only quarrel I have with the agony submissions themselves is that we are provided with no idea of the person giving us a glimpse of this most personal and human of moments. At times I feel somewhat cheapened by referrinng to these brave and beautiful men and women as Mr. 999 or Ms. 333. This gives a feel of "intentional anonymity" to these vids, as if what they were doing were somehow shameful and their life in the real world shouldn't be known. For me, this "implication" goes against the very heart and soul of what this site is about!!
These submissions are given by real men and women who are letting us witness their most personal and private acts. I STRONGLY feel we should at least know their first name, where they are from, what their occupation is, if they are married/have kids. etc. How much or little they might choose to let us know.
For me, this would greatly heighten the artistic purposes of this site, by reinforcing that these are real people having real orgasms, and their sexuality (self- or otherwise) is nothing to be ashamed of. I would think this could best be accomplished by having each agonee give a short introductory speech

You and I most always agree, but I must point out that the "beauty" is the fact that the orgasms are real, regardless of how much or little of the genitals we see. The face for me is the most erotic part of the body, but when did the human genitals during orgasm become "stuff"? I can't agree that showing full nudity would cheapen this site to the level of porn sites.
Also I must say that as a man, I am constantly struck at how much commerce there is in this world that seems specifically intent on selling me a woman's sexuality. (Go to a strip club..Cover charge, 2 drink minimum, lap dances of various prices, etcetc.) In our culture it is disheartening to notice that so very often it seems to take money to bring forth female sexuality (at least for single guys).
This site is restoring my faith that women can both like sex for sex's sake and yes, can have an orgasm of which they are willing to share.

Well we could make up a name for each contributor but what's the point? The relative anonymity of Agony the way it is, makes the project more appealing to the latent exhibitionists I think. We don't know even what continent they're from, so if you see someone familiar you'd think it hardly likely it's so-and-so.

But if we can ever get this frickin' code finished and show you their Confession tapes, you'll find out a whole lot more about some agonees. Not all mind, and only the more recent ones.

I'm not sure this is in the spirit of the present "suggestion box" but what the hey.

How about showing more of an agonee (from the waist up instead of the shoulder sup) but fully clothed (or at least decent.)

Someone elsewhere suggested an agonee having phone sex. What about someone having a more normal phone conversation or engaged in an otherwise "normal" activity and covertly getting off. I love watching someone trying to keep it together and ultimatly failing.

An interesting technical challenge: How about an agonee in a moving vechile (obviously as a passenger) I think it might be interesting to have a moving background, and interaction with a dynamic environment might be worth the possible loss of some sounds and details.

Just some thoughts for potential agonees (or overloads). But to all the existing agonees that may be reading this, I'd like to add that you are wonderful, beautiful, and I admire and apreciate all of you.

Surely it's actually the other way round? A LONG time ago, people worked out that female sexuality is what it takes to bring forth MONEY. Back to the subject in hand, i.e. the suggestions:

I like the "invitation" idea. I've had hellish problems finding ways of introducing people to this site that doesn't look like spam or the mumblings of the "dirty mac brigade".

I'n not convinced of the argument for personal info... Anonymity is a relative thing. Surely the face is the single most effective means of identification available. Personal details, however, leave the agonees open to the risk of stalking or worse.

Suggesting innovative ideas for agony videos seems (to me ) to invalidate the point of the site. Surely the agony is presented as "this is me" rather than "this is what 8 out of 10 subscribers voted for" If an agonee wants to record an orgasm while swinging upside down from the jib of a crane while covered in chocolate coated ferrets to the backing of the 1812 overture, then such a video will turn up on Lauren's desk soon enough... An innovative video suggested by the agonee is a refreshing event. A video presented because someone asked for it suggests something else entirely. (No disrespect to Ruby here. I know she invited suggestions and I respect her motives)

On the vexed subject of nudity: Might I point out that it is entirely possible for subscribers and agonees to e-mail each other in this forum? I would humbly suggest that there is nothing preventing a willing agonee from sending more explicit material direct to someone who successfully requests it... This way the "transaction" (if I may call it that) is completely consensual, private and effectively separated from the philosophy of the site. Personally, I'd be willing to bet that there would be VERY few such interactions... but I've been wrong before.

I think overkill is a great feture because if an agonee wanted to add another video or make a statement, then that would be a good place to do it. This a thought.

One thing I thought about. Not a suggestion to change anything, more of a "include more of that" thing.

I dont remember which file it was, but there was one where the girl said "im coming." - Now, most of these files certainly don't need to spell out what is happening, but it is something I have personally always liked - that she (or he, Im sure) lets us know when it happens.

The "suggestion," from me - I suppose - is more of those kind of files. Of course, it is merely a personal prefrence - i can't speak for others on this one.

A suggestion and a question all in one. What are the problems in presenting longer clips that show the build up more slowly - this would be infinitely more beautiful and erotic.

There is one video (one of those shot outdoors) in which the agonee briefly moves in front of the camera before getting into the "face only" video position. She was clothed (shorts & small top)... and it was rather brief but enough to give the viewer an idea of what she looked like below the neck. Not too much was revealed but enough to let the imagination run wild.

Maybe something along these lines in future videos is an idea... still no nudity, but more than the face only. (At least briefly!)

Some of the Agonees have told the camera their secrets. And, a few of their friends' secrets as well. We've just had a technical setback which is going to push it back several more weeks I'm afraid.

OK. Here's a suggestion:

I've noticed a lot of people identify particular agonees in forum discussions. The problem then comes from the fact that the agonies themselves are never on the same page from month to month. It can be quite tiresome (for those of us with lousy mental arithmetic) to find a particular agony - so:

How's about changing the hyperlinks to the agonies already posted from "page 15", "page 14", etc... to "1-20", "21-40", "41-60", etc... Much simpler.

Alternatively: Hows about a SEARCH facility where you can type in an agony number and jump straight to it?
