slow servers

your servers have never been the quickiest ones, but for many days now, it' hard to be patient enough to see the videos online...
may i ask you for a check, wht's going on there...

For whatever it is worth, I have also noticed... The video will start, may play for a minute, then stall for 1 to 3 minutes or more with a white circle in the center going around and around, as if it is buffering... I can restart the video or click on the progress bar at a prior point and it will play normally untill it his the same spot and it stalls again... I can download it, but since I'm not paying attention I don't know if there is any slowness or stalling...
As a curiosity, I have only noticed this on the Agonys, I don't think I can remember a Confession behaving the same way...

I've also had downloads stall out. Usually they resume after a minute or so but a handful have errored out.

From what I've seen, performance has been much better the last couple of days. Kudos to whatever action has been taken so far.

even a single download varies from 500kbit to less than 50kbit (40000kbit would be max on my side)

For what its worth, I haven't had any problems downloading since I joined a few days ago. I have a very high speed connection and things are working fine for me.

Hey there, sorry to bump an old thread but I just joined this weekend and have encountered very slow streaming and download speeds. My internet connection is around 15 Mbps/s download but it's taking about 20 minutes for a 145 MB file, which I've only experienced on very throttled sites. is this the best way to notify an admin?

I have been having problems also, for quite some time, but mine are from slow speeds changing from one page to another. Used to be instantaneous, but now takes 5-10 seconds every time. Streaming seems O.K.

I don't have more than 20 on my favorites page but just checked and mine was fine for the 6 random onesI opened... So, I;m not sure why it is affecting you...

Between you and the site servers, there are dozens of other servers shuttling info back and forth, and if any of those servers bogs down, it affects the speed you see and the speed of every other person in that same traffic pattern...
Is this normal? Not as a rule... But in the past I have noticed if it starts, expect it to happen for days or even weeks, and then, all of a sudden, somewhere a server will be re-booted, fixed, traffic patterns change, or something, and all is back to normal... You just need to live with it

I rarely have problems or even see them when I do as I download, but yesterday I did notice some lagging and stalling as I was watching them, at times the buffering was waiting for data... This is just a fact of life, not a problem of the site servers, but transmission which is outside their control...

The site is basically not functional for me over the last week (how long I have been on). I have download speeds of 122Kbs and streaming keeps lagging and stopping as described above. That is with a 50Mbs download capacity (I tested the speed just now) and a wired connection. Anything that can be done to help?

I just tested a download from another site and it took about 3 seconds to download 25Mb, while I am still downloading from BA at 122Kbs.
