Could we get a suggestion thread going?

The answer is yes.

I love this site and the project goals in mind. But I think it would be neato to have feedback time and talk about things that work well and things that don't work as well.

General Beautiful Agony suggestion:
- More Hairy women
- Less hairy men

Camera positions/Staging:
- Teach people to check the lighting level or set up for them.
- Belly down facing the camera is the hottest position ever.
- Belly up with the camera behind and above the head is also awesome.

Probably the site has little control over this, but it's worth talking about.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions and whatnot?

We welcome feedback, orbitboy - Thank you.

We don't accept/refuse contributors based on their body hair and/or gender. So you'll have no luck there and I'd give up now. Everyone is invited to submit - from all walks of life and in all manner of configurations of body type. Currently we offer the ability to filter the guys from the gals (which I think is silly ) but it's an option if you desire.

As for camera positions/staging...

Sorry, but this one is out of our hands. For one, we don't stage. And well, camera position really depends on what is comfortable for the person contributing, belly down submission may be hot but there are a lot of BA contributions that just aren't on their belly because the position doesn't work for them. It's spoken about a lot in confessions.

Belly up and camera behind and above the head? This sounds like some sort of crazy yoga position. I think the camera too far behind the head though can often look like the contributor has either a very large forehead or like they are floating on the ceiling -which can be a bit odd.

But just for clarification, I was just stating my opinions and thoughts. I realize it's all up to the contributors. I'm not against anyone submitting what they are comfortable with. Anyone can submit, but let's face facts. Girls can pull off being as natural as they want, but guys tend to look crazy when they don't shave or comb their hair.

As for the technical side, you could at least give people pointers on how to operate a camera. I'm not sure if you do or how it works logistically, but when light is flooding the lense, you can't actually see anything that's being shot. I guess that's my general reaction when I see way overexposed submissions.

So to summarize I'm not trying to change the vibe here. I'm just sort of giving my impressions (which certainly had to be clarified) because it's a forum. What else are people going to post but their thoughts? I have nothing against dudes, I'm a guy too. But when I know my picture is being taken I make sure I don't look like Charlie Manson (which I normally do on the weekends, sadly).

But I digress. Anyone have any feedback of their own?

In my opinion, it shouldnt be encroachments whatsoever from somebody or other than contributors themselves; all is their own work and a very personally way of expression.
