I know that many people find it convenient to use Male and Female to describe their own gender and search for the agonies they would like to view, but I think it would be really nice if the Beautiful Agony staff would allow a third option. It would be difficult to decide what that third gender option should be, but perhaps contributors could just identify their gender as Anonymous if they don't feel comfortable with the usual Male/Female description.
This may seem a bit like picking nits to many of you, but from the confessions I've veiwed so far, it seems like there are already contributors that don't fully agree with the whole gender dichotomy thing. I feel like a third gender option would encourage new contributors who don't feel like Male or Female describes them, or who wish to support/express flexable gender identities.

Avinashi,
I know it is a private matter, but would u mind telling me if you have posted?
As a gay male, I know there are several submissions as males that strongly remind me of drag queens/guys about to go through "the change", so it doesn't seem so out of line to suggest that.
However, knowing the forums as I do I suspect that the reason that there is a Male/female division at all (there didn't use to be) is that several of the hetero guys have expressed their displeasure that there are male submissions...more of a user service kind of thing rather than any desire on the part of the moderators to break the sexes down, and since it is probably the straight guys whose membership fees keep the site going, we should capitulate this division to them.
Personally I wouldn't care either way. However, I think it adds to the eroticism to have male and female agonies side by side with no mention of gender...it is so sexy just to look at all those faces getting off together.
I must say that this site has introduced me to the natural female orgasm..I never knew women could be so sexy. Straight men rarely ever mention their partners orgasms when we talk. Though I never really had the desire in my life, some of them want me to reach down with my large male fingers and "help them out". I even am beginning to wonder what the female labial area feels like at that point.
For those of you who have had experience with women, are they really capable of losing it this way? It is SO erotic!!!

Avinashi: I am glad that you brought this up. I have to admit that when I see the little 'females' and 'males' links on the site, I feel a bit uneasy about what that's presenting, but I also understand why it's there. Well, I don't know for sure why it's there because I didn't design the site, but I suspect that dragonbrag is on to something when he says that it probably plays mostly to the straight males who don't wish to see stills from male Agonies.
I think you're right to question the dichotomy presented, particularly when you do see evidence of folks whose presented or perceived gender might fall between or beyond the 'male-female' system. As far as I know, none of the paperwork for Agony contributors asks for gender, which I guess means that gender is determined by name and by appearance. Contributors also have to provide ID to prove that they are of legal age to appear here, so that might be another way to figure out which gender category a person goes into. And as many folks who try to transition within the binary gender system can probably tell you, the ID thing comes with a whole other set of problems and confusions that could translate as legal issues if they want to have a video go up on Agony.
I think it would be great to have a third gender option here, for a number of reasons. For one thing, it might make the idea of contributing here more accessible to those who identify as neither 'male' nor 'female'. Folks who queer the gender binary are welcome here, but if they come to the site and see that binary so solidly in place, they might not feel that way. It might also offer a way for those who don't wish to be categorised by the system in place to self-identify. However (and I'm playing devil's advocate here), if we added a third gender category, would we eventually need to add a fourth, and a seventh, and on and on to encompass the massive spectrum of gender?
Like dragonbrag, I too prefer to see everyone presented together, because I think everyone's Agony is hot. But I would also get use out of a 'third gender' category, as I'd like to see representations of eroticism from folks who play with the gender binary, and allowing them to self-identify would be a great way to find them.
One of the things that is really cool about Agony is that it de-emphasizes the ways in which we read gender from the body by simply not presenting those bits we are particularly drawn to when we're trying to pick out the boys from the girls or the girls from the boys. Another option could be to simply remove the gender categories altogether, which takes that de-emphasis a step further. I think I might rather see that than to add another category. But again, I suspect that the categorisation is more of a business decision than anything else.
I'm glad folks are talking about this.

I can think of one female agony that I don't think quite fits that catogory.

Imagine!!
Being able to masturbate as both male and female in your life after gender reassignment surgery!!!
How cool is that??

I agree that a third gender option (or fourth or fifth and so on) is problematic but a non-specified gender (other) category a good option, sort of like overkill.

As an individual that is biologically sexed male, I prefer biologically sexed females. Infact, I have never, to my knowledge been serriously attracted to a sexed male. Anyway, I just want to put out there that I am perfectly fine with not having anything gendered at all. Even when I look at the "female" section, I only click on videos that I think that I am attracted to, not every single one.
It seems to me that people are simply incapable of personal choice. Looking at a male agony does will NOT turn you "gay" (whatever that means anyway, gender idenity is soo confusing to me!)

Maybe I am missing something, but how on earth could there be a "Third Option". (unless you are an emaphradite) (spelling?).
Even after sexual reassignment, you are still either a male or female.
Would changing the links to "Dangly Bits" and "Non Dangly Bits" put you at ease?
Give me a break.

I think D, that they are referring to an emotional, mental feeling rather than whatever their genitals might currently be.
Many men who go thru gender reassignment take years and years to fully complete the process, having to slide into a feminine psyche gradually.. for instance, you will see one in a bar occasionally in male clothing but with cosmetics with their eyebrows plucked..and some who will wear dresses only occasionally.
During this long period, they usu. go by both a male and a female name...and I have called some of them by both and don't think any of them have ever told me a preference.
Since we don't see genitalia on this site it doesn't seem that important.

I still don't really get it. I am a gay male and consider myself "Streetwise". I was heavily into the gay scene at one point in my life, and have seen almost everything. I have met males who deep down consider themselves females.
I have even met a lesbian, who was born a straight male, and had "the operation". She is a stunning blonde with legs a mile long, and a bouncer at one of the Gay Clubs. (basically a straight man with a vagina). (took me a while to get my head around that one).
With all that aside, regardless to sexual assignments, a person either is attracted to Males, Females or both.
My question is, what is the "3rd Option" which the thread starter wants the webmaster to create?
I'm not digging a Drag Queen masterbating if that is what he/she had in mind.
(sometimes this "Political Correctness" gets WAY out of hand).

There have been multiple genders, and intersexed people since the begining of time.
If you think this is about "political correctness," I dont even know what to say to you.

Explain to me what this "3rd gender" is.
I'm all ears.

I have nothing wrong with a third gender option.
Personally, I don't believe in sexuality and I feel that what we class as sexuality is just a way of rating our own personal levels of homophobia or heterophobia. This is to say, I believe it is possible for any human to fall in love with any human regardless of anything on the "outside". But despite this view, I still know that I would rather watch a female masturbate than a male, I'm open to anything but I have my preferences and to be quite honest, the still of another man climaxing isn't really my thing. It's nothing to do with being homophobic, it's to do with wanting to watch women more than men.

People aren't born with an M or F stamped on their foreheads. Infact, many people aren't even born with simple xx, xy chromosone designations. Many that have the xx chromosone are born with externally "male" bodies, and many with xy chromosones are born with "female" bodies. Many people are born with some mix of chromosones or some combination of male/female organs; some conditions cause a spontaneous transition from male to female or female to male at puberty. Still more people don't belive that their physical gender describes their mental gender, some of these people change their physical appearance, some don't. Many, many more people simply don't agree with catagorizing people into either male of female. Some belive there are 5 or 15 definable genders. Others belive that there should be no gender distinctions at all.
Basically, the issue of gender and sex is very, very complicated. I think it would be nice if people didnt have to designate their agonies "Male" or "Female" if they dont want to. Naming a third catagory would be complicated for all the reasons described above, but I would like to see something that allows people to describe themselves free of gender descriptions, simply as sexy human beings.
