The New Site

It's no secret that we have been working on a new site for the past few months, following on from the response to the Full Body Agony posted on Overkill last year. There was criticism at the time that we'd contradicted our credo that 'the face is the sexiest part of the human body'. Yet the full body video was, to most people, sexy in a different way. And as we said at the time, it couldn't be so, without the face.

Beautiful Agony has, and will remain to be, a site of great purity. Rather than submit to the temptation of broadening the appeal of Agony by revealing more and more, we decided to start a a new site, where we could experiment with various ideas that have spun off from the whole Agony project. We knew at the outset we would be paddling in murky waters, well polluted by tasteless porn. Our challenge has been to present the subject matter, which is girls (mostly) masturbating, with the dignity it deserves - for it is, after all, one of woman's most beautiful moments.

And so here, for the first and last time on Agony, we gratuitously plug www.ifeelmyself.com, "The Art of Orgasm."

Our launch has come later than all would have liked, and as I write this we are still uploading some of the content. At first you'll find only WMV files but by next week, all videos will be available in QT format as well. We have two video sizes, one for dialup customers and a supersize 640 x 480, even bigger than Agony. We're tweaking the encoding settings so you should seee the quality improve over the coming weeks.

While we would have liked to offer a discount to our very loyal subscribers, it is technically almost impossible to implement a system over our existing customer base, currently split between 4 different databases. And besides, who else but you nice fans of quality erotica, is going to help pay back the gadzillions of dollars it has taken to get this running? So for now we have an opening special, where the one-time plans and the rebilling plans are the same price. There are two levels - IFM Restricted, in which the subject is mostly clothed where it counts, and IFM Premium, where anything goes. (Subscription to Premium gets you all the Restricted videos as well). This subscription will give you access to 10 videos in each level, plus 2 new releases per level per week. As the archives grow we will have to put the prices up, but anyone on the starting plans which are still rebilling will get that rate for as long as their subscription remains continuous.

We have a Forum over there, which you will be automatically registered in on joining. Liandra is away at the moment but Maxi, who you may know from www.ishotmyself.com and Agony, will be lurking around looking for an ear to bend. Maxi edits all the IFM videos and what a great job she's done. So too the site designer and others who know who they are but will reveal themselves when and how they see fit - thanks all for a great job. And of course thanks to all the contributors for your incredible renditions.

Of course, immediately I bought my Premium Membership. You cant find except BA, a more erotic site on the whole web. I recommend that page as a good completion to BA. Its really worth the money.

Now I wait for the QuickTime version for Mac. I hope it works by Mac OS 9.2.2 also, same as on the BA site.

So, I thought. It is finaly here. I logged on and registered with I FEEL MYSELF with some trepidation, fully expecting to be disapointed. I wasn't. I have just finished watching all of the vids and each is breathtaking in its own individual way. The creaters have managed to retain all of the integrity of BA and the added dimensions of nudity and whole body shots only enhance the beauty and sensuality of the submissions where I had expected it to cheapen them.

Congratulations seems such a petty and insubstantial word for what you have managed to acheive with the new site. I look forward to future submission, (particularly the lap dancing one. WOW!!!!), with great anticipation.

I myself just signed up this morning. After viewing the intro and samples and description about this site didn't take me long to decide. I've just seen the first 2 contribution clips and was glued to my seat sort of say. Very nice for those that want to explore a bit more but with a touch of exotic. I still love BA very much. I'm very pleased with the new site.

Well, just to play Devil's Advocate here and with an effort to be helpful and not get flamed. The new site is not what I expected or hoped. I was hoping for a site that was just like BA, but you see the whole body. Although they are described as "not models", if they are coming to a studio and being filmed for money, they are models. It is a very professional looking site, but that is not what I wanted. I wanted videos that women had sent in like BA, but you see more than the face. This site will probably make more money than my idea though, lol. I am well aware that a portion of the videos on BA are also filmed in a studio, but they don't have that feel, even the full body agony in the Overkill section does not have that feel.
Good luck on the site anyway, and don't take my post the wrong way please, just offering my 2 cents.

Fedor1, I think I understand your view of the new site. It looks too professional.

Really, sometimes LESS is MORE.

One self placed and fixed camera, one camera angel to the whole body, one person and no one more in the room, no manipulation from anybody outside, the woman only decide where and when. ...Would be more the creative, experimental line of the BA project. Perhaps its impossible to realize.

I haven't actually joined IFM yet (economy forbids it, unfortunately), but from what I've gathered just looking at the previews and Liandra's introduction, what we have been given, is indeed a lot more than just "Full Body" BA. However, I don't feel (as I sense that you, Fedor1 and Uri, do) that they have betrayed the ethos of BA, in stead, they have created something different. They have made what might be the internet's first serious site for video erotica. A site that takes its produciotn, customers and content equally seriously, producing erotica with an afterthought that's not going to their bank accounts, but to the actual aesthetic and erotic values of the work produced. Far removed from smutty porn, but no less exciting or 'dirty', quite the contrary actually.

So yes, you could moan about not getting a simple new BA, only with full body shots, or you could just revel in the amazing work of erotic art and sexual positivity that is I Feel Myself.

Now a word to Richard and all the rest of the crew, I want some damn compensation for using a good five minutes of my spare time writing this amazing promotional piece (it's Saturday morning in Sweden and I haven't even had breakfast yet). How about free life time membership to BA, ISM, IFM and any and all sites you might start up in the future.

Well from my perspective, the new site goes far above and beyond anything that I expected. Max is a genius with the editing. The ambience created by the lighting is amazing and really adds a special touch as well. Personally, I wasn't looking for another BA and I think it was a smart move business-wise not to create a BA[2]. Otherwise it would basically be a lot of time, money and headache for the same-ol-same-ol.

I have been reticent and cynical about BA being classified as "ART". However, the creative talents of all involved in the new site, in my opinion definately calls for such a definition. The special touches in all of the clips thus far really pull you into the experience, which is what art should do if it's done well.

So Richard, Lauren, Liandra, Max and anyone else whose name(s) I left out, I know I've said this already a couple of times but I think you all have done an absolutely wonderful job and I wish you all nothing but overwhelming success.

Thanks, that's the sort of response we hoped for, but I have to admit I thought sometimes we might have been overestimating the audience. I'm very heartened by the response at the end of a very suckful week, as I'm sure the others are...currently enjoying a well deserved weekend off.
