Minor problem with browsing

This is something I've noticed since the front page default was changed from 'Everybody' to 'Latest'. If you do a quicksearch for a particular number (which takes you to that submitter's index in the 'everybody' mode), and then click to go forward or back one page (clicking on the '>' or '<'), it loses your place because it switches back to 'latest' mode. Since the two views have a different number of videos, the "&offset=    " value in the url goes to a different place between the two modes.

I took some screenshots, and I'll post them as soon as I figure out how to add images to my post.

I'm using Firefox 81 on windows 10.

I see that, and it had been fixed but I can't find the post that mentioned it...
Right now, it doesn't matter if you search in Latest or Classic mode, you can't go forward or back a page on the result... When this was fixed before, the search results page was sorted numerically and had a message above the thumbnails, I don't see that message any more...
What has changed between the last fix to correct it and now is that the upload schedule has changed and primary or new uploads are no longer in a normal numerical pattern as Confession numbers are out of sync with Agony numbers...
