Slow site

This site is been too slow today, downloadin takes several minutes... is server problems?

It happens from time to time, it will come back in a day or three.

And it will not be the BA servers (I am fine today), it will be one or more of the dozens of servers in the path ... If you are in US NE, the storm will have taken servers down and until power is restored, you will experience problems ...

Yes I had aproblem on Tuesday (2 days ago), buffering of videos was taking forever and then they were stopping in the middle...I even contacted technical support...but by the following day it was running fine again.  Kind of figured the storm might have something to do with it, even though I am in England and not the US.

Slow for me too. got 3 vids downloading at the minute (163mb , 182mb, 234mb) i seem to be only able to download at 40kb/sec and each one says 1 hour left! Usually takes like 1 to 2 minutes each? hope it sorts itself out soon. other than that this is an amazing site!

hi, you are posting in a very old thread, but all the same, please dont complain too much about your downloads being slow, it is not always the fault of this website, there are many other things that will cause this sort of problem, so you need to look into those as well.

if all your other browsing or downloading is fine except for this site, then their server may be bogged down with a lot of traffic accessing it at the same time, and maybe their server is small and cant handle a lot of traffic at the same time.

remember, the more people who access a website the more demand it puts on their server, so keep this in mind, not only for this site, but for all internet access.

also, maybe your service provider may be having a technical issue, or you just may be getting a dirty connection to your local exchange.

have you done a broadband speed test yet, maybe you should.

oh, btw get yourself a download manager, i use one that is part of firefox called "DownThemAll" and it does speed up your downloads, and i have mine set up to only download 1 link at a time after i have loaded up a whole pile of links to download while i am away from my pc.
