People all lick their lips when they're in sexual pleasure?

Nearly everyone in BA videos would lick his/her lips now and then during the sweet agony!

So is it an instinct? Hey everyone -- do you also do that?

As for myself, sometimes when I'm with a partner in fact-to-face position, when the pleasure (more mental than physical) comes so strong I feel an urge to lick my lips, as if it's a way to release the impulse; but the more important reason is that I think it can provide an enjoyable scene to my partner. And when I'm alone or not facing my partner I just wouldn't ever think of licking my lips!

Anyway I just wonder why licking lips is not such a stereotype orgasm behavior as moaning/screaming/twitching/etc. which are mentioned all the time.

Hi, after my conjecture it could be an instinctive, evolutionary formed reaction to keep the lips moist during sexual excitement. Breathing fast with open mouth dries the Lips, so they can more easily tear in the middle when the mouth in a sudden movement is opened even wider. I myself make this experience in dry Winters (without sexual context) and lick them from time to time intendedly. During sexual excitement I don't lick spontaneously but sometimes I pout my lips like for example Mr. 1964 (I'm hetero, but I find it very informative to see other men), which has the same moistening effect (This occurred to me because of Your question). (A sight to see is, what Ms. 1009 does with her mouth, respectively her mouth does with her).
But because it often happens more often than necessary it could after my conjecture also be a transient and unconscious regression to the oral Phase (Freud) which arouses an instinct for feeding and protecting in the partner. Perhaps it is a mixture of both.
-"dry" science -but the wonderful feeling does not go away.
