How about a thread to collect both:
- Interesting facts about human sexual anatomy (example below) or about unusual variations -- such as males having extended or multiple orgasms, females who can orgasm from stimulation of their nipples or the soles of their feet, and females with extra nipples, unusually large clitorises, or voluminous male-like ejaculate -- and of course
- Stories about the same, from ourselves or people we know?
Such exceptions reportedly exist, as well as many others I'm sure, and as somewhat of an enthusiast on the topic I would be interested in hearing about it from those who would know. ... or hearing whatever else people have to say about such things.
The example I had in mind of more universal sex facts was the whole sneezing thing. That discussion led to the reiteration (for me) of the detail that human nasal passages swell as orgasm approaches, in addition to female breasts/nipples and obviously the genitals. I first saw that as a trivia question on the Canadian TV show "Talk Sex with Sue."
I love stuff like that! I think I understand how historians or linguists feel about nuances in their respective fields. So what interesting details / stories / links do all of you have?

Wow. I had no idea this would be such a hot topic. In a month, over 750 viewings, and not a single comment, even from the peanut gallery.
Perhaps the administrators should give this one another couple of weeks, then just delete it if no one's interested. I'm okay with that.

Well, though I really have no sex trivia to share here, I do think this topic deserved at least one comment, PC elmo! So I just want to say I find female ejaculation a rather fastinating and exiting subject (I'm a Cytheria fan...). Extra nipples, on the other hand, qualify as a major turn-off, I'm afraid...

Female ejaculation is a subject dear to my heart. However this is mostly confused with peeing right before, during or right after orgasm (real or fake). True female orgasms where actual lubricating fluids are expelled from the vagina during orgasm, and not urine, are extremely rare. I believe the figure I read was only 1 in 10,000 do this to even the smallest degree. Most do have a slight flow, but few expell it with any force.
I, too, would be incredibly interested in seeing actual female ejaculations and not just another girl who is merely peeing, or who has placed fluids, such as milk, into themselves to simulate this phenomenon.
Of all the things that God created, is there anything as fascinating as the clitoris?

My nose is far from fascinating but I often experience the nasal congestion thing after lovemaking -- sometimes the more orgasms -- the more blocked my nose -- sex is literally breathtaking!

I looked up some trivia from mindlesscrap.com while I was waiting for a download to finish. These are the ones I found that most pertain to this site. Except the last one which, by the way, is accurate. I checked.
A typical orgasm lasts from three to ten seconds, with contractions occurring every 0.8 seconds for both men and women.
The most recorded orgasms in an hour by researchers at the Center for Marital and Sexual Studies in Long Beach, CA, was 134 by one female and sixteen for a male.
According to statistics, Australian women are the most likely to have sex on the first date.
The left testicle usually hangs lower than the right for right-handed men. The opposite is true for lefties.

ROFL, it's true! I wonder why, there must be some physiological explanation for this phenomenon. Would there be some correlation with masturbation? How else would your balls know your a leftie or not? Great stuff!

My best guess would be posture, actually.
I've heard that most right-handers, if they're going to lie on their side, lie on their right side, and so on. Men may also stand and walk slightly asymmetrically. Ball preference may be the male version of the way women sway their hips when they walk.
Also, keep in mind that not all men masturbate frequently, and some switch hands or entirely use their "off" hand (or no hands at all). And the hanging of balls tends to pre-date vigorous masturbation. They've gotta go somewhere.
Yes, good stuff -- not the sorta thing we think about all the time (hopefully )
Speaking of hanging, any women out there notice any issues or oddities with buyancy or bounciness? I've heard one aid for those with a lot to carry around is a looser version of a corsette -- very good for lots of sudden movement and running, like soccer. I'm told it's like going "boyfriend/girlfiend" (or whatever) forever instead of trying marriage: all the support without the constriction!
Cheers!

I am a woman who is able to have g-spot orgasms, and I have to say that I think your information and statistics are wrong. Firstly, g-spot orgasms are so "new" that nobody even knew what they were two decades ago. Hard to believe, but true. Because they are just now being recognized in the scientific community as something real there are a lot of differing opinions. However, i do think that every woman has the capability to have one. They just need the knowledge to know how, and the practice (heh heh).
I know you mentioned a statistic (1 in 10,000) but if you do some research and read 5 different sources you will come out with 5 different answers as to how frequent and often and possible and common a g-spot orgasm is.
Myself, I went out and bought a g-spot vibrator, but it was months before I actually squirted. Not peed. Squirted. Clear, colourless, odorless liquid shot out of my vagina and ended up all over the floor in front of my computer (I was watching a Cytherea movie at the time). It was incredible and I was incredulous. And since that first time I always masturbate with a towel underneath me!
I highly recommend that if a girl (or a guy, for his girlfriend) wants an education in how to squirt, they should pick up either, or both of the following videos: Squirtwoman (Elegant Angel Productions), or Squirters (Seymore Butts). Both of them do a very good job of explaining the best way for someone to go about it. In this sort of situation it's not just the "cummee" knowing how to give one, but as much about the cummer knowing how to have one in the first place. Having a g-spot orgasm just isn't intuitive for most girls. And do your keigels! It helps.

Hello Soulster, interesting what you say about the female ejaculation. I too agree that subject is still relatively new. However I have bought years ago (1992) a video from EVE GARDEN store at New York city illustrating that particular facet of sex. The video title is : How to female ejaculate
It is presented by Fanny Fatale who is performing in this video among other women. They probably still have this on a DVD now.
Also you can have a look at PIP's performance at abbywinters.com. She does it too after obviously stimulating her G-spot.

So that's another good choice for spending my hard-earned money. BA was sort of a turning point for me, in that I had never before seriously considered paying anything to join an internet site. Just today I decided that I will sign up for ISM -- eventually -- and it looks like abbywinters is next in line. It's great to see places that celebrate the REAL idiosyncrosies of sex and orgasms!

PC elmo, Don't hesitate to go with abbywinters. And you will see some familiar faces and more than face and shoulders. I recommend you Gabrielle, Armine, Emma, Jaqui, Matilda, Adeline and Anthea especially. I have too to confess I never paid to join an Internet site until I discovered BA. BA is just exceptional. Then I joined abbywinters.

I've also heard that excessive use of nasal decongestants can cause erectile dysfunction... due to the similarity of tissue make-up in both areas, and how they restrict blood flow by closing capilliaries.

Interesting thread, although this site is more about seeing things than rading about them. I've been with women who had orgasms from breast stimulation alone (nipple sucking), but one woman had quick, low-level multiples from kissing.

On the subject of female ejaculation. Most times I have witnessed this phenomenon, the fluid expels from the urethra and not the vagina. This leads one to believe that the subject is urinating and not truly ejaculating. Many sexologists have tried to equate this to a totally separate fluid, similar to the seminal fluid produced by the male. And I have seen reports from doctors that this fluid does not exist and that the reason the fluid is clear and odorless is that it derives from voluminous water intake prior to the "ejaculation" to increase the volume of the "ejaculate."
Personally, I don't care. It's erotic whether it's urine, some unidentified fluid, milk or other bodily fluids placed there by the partner.

Interesting sex laws I found...
1. Topless saleswomen are allowed in Liverpool, England--But only in tropical fish stores.
2. In Michigan, a woman is not allowed to cut her own hair unless she has permission from her husband.
3. The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is decapitation.
4. In Tremonton, Utah, no woman is allowed to have sex with a man while riding in an ambulance. In addition to pressing charges, the town will publish the name of the offending female in the newspaper. the male receives no punishment.
5. It's against the law in Willowdale, Oregon for a man to curse during sex.
6. In Connorsville, Wisconsin, it is illegal for a man to shoot a gun when his wife is having an orgasm.
7. In North Carolina, it is illegal for a man to peep into a window at a woman. However it is not illegal for a woman to peep in a window at a man.
8. In Ames, Iowa it is illegal for a man to take more than three gulps of beer while in bed with his wife.
9. If you are a single, divorced or widowed woman, you can't parachute on a Sunday afternoon in Florida.
10. In Cali, Colombia, a woman may only have sex with her husband. And the first time this occurs her mother must be in the room to witness the act.

LOL. Nice try. But I know Liverpool well, Michigan somewhat less so but still reasonably well, and these are shaggy dog stories. Not bad, but it's October, not April

I would say that most of the female ejaculation videos that you see on mainstream porn sites are faked. However, I'm quite happy to believe that real female ejaculation (not urination) occurs in some women. I had a partner who ejaculated. In her case the volume of liquid involved was modest---similar to the amount I ejaculate. Also it would spurt in time with her orgasmic contractions and not flow out in a stream as you often see in mainstream porn videos. What I typically see in mainstream videos looks like urination to me. Was my lover actually squirting bits of diluted urine? I suppose it's possible. However, it certainly didn't taste or smell like it.
For the record I find watching a woman urinate to be quite erotic as well. So I agree with Tellin in that to a certain extent the ejaculation/urination question doesn't necessarily matter. As long as the woman is enjoying herself I am happy. On the other hand it's nice to be honest about what is going on. Fake ejaculations are as bad as fake orgasms, it seems to me.

I got those from a website. I didn't make them up. They are old laws on the books.

AW's Pip is a great example of genuine, and dramatically copious female ejaculation.
She talked in her first AW shoot (no pun intended) in vivid detail about her first experience of it ); then she did an Intimate Moment in which she masturbates to a fantastically ejaculatory orgasm.

A recent study actually indicated that about 40% of women ejaculate (whether they know it or not, and whether or not it's a large enough amount to be noticed).
In another study, researchers wanted to really investigate further, so they drained the bladders of several women, stuck catheters in them, and had them masturbate to orgasm. All of these women were copious ejaculators.
The researchers found that even though 95% of the fluid did come from the bladder, it was not normal urine. It contained only 25% of the urea found in your standard pee. The rest of the fluids were mainly standard vaginal discharge, and occasionally, a milky discharge, courtesy of the Skene glands, which are near the urethra.

Most giraffes and turkeys are bisexual.
Nasophilia is the arrousal from licking, touching, sucking, or looking at a partner's nose.
The left side of the clitoris generally has more nerve endings. (her left) =o )
Japan leads the world in condom use. They're sold door to door by women, like cosmetics.
Cold showers actually increase the production of sex hormones.
1% of the female population are able to have an orgasm from breast stimulation.
1 in 200 women are born with an extra nipple.
The female spider monkey will sometimes mate 11 times a day when she's in season, to the point where semen is overflowing.. The other spider monkeys see this excess as a nutricious snack.
