Okay this week's Overkill is up and it's big. Is it wortth the bandwidth? Speak up.

With my blazing cable modem hookup and new 19 inch screen, which Real Player graciously allows me to fill with the "full screen" command, all of the agonees have been stunningly large and sharp. This overload, frankly, is in line with what I have been seeign before.
Now using this additional bandwidth may be of serious help for folks with slower hookups and smaller screens.
Richard, you have a fantastic site -- one I have dreamed about seeing.
Keep on keeping on, my man!

I like the higher detail. Yes, I can definitely see the difference on my monitor at fullscreen. I'd say stick with the higher bandwidth.

Yes, the picture quality was certainly sharper on this clip - perhaps members should be given a choice of video quality though? I can't imagine everyone on here has broadband yet.

The increased size makes a significant difference to me so yes, I'd like to see it for all clips.

Yep, i also think it's worth it.

I like it.
My desktop system (with my 20" LCD) is down for repairs, but even on my laptop with the 12" screen the increased resolution was nice.
I didn't mind the slightly longer download time at all.

Absolutely worth it, in fact it convinced me to subscribe for the third time. More please!
I'd suggest making all the mpgs this size: as it is, the improvement from the wmv to the mpg is only marginal. Or even better, use some better compression than mpeg1.

A long while ago I started a post about offering larger videos as an option. Anyway I was thrilled to see that the site tried it! It looks great, can be blown up much larger without distortion and some how the whole presentation seems more intense. Hope to see more.

Are we not in the DVD age? If the video quality is available, as a subscriber, we should see it. I am running on a 21" 1600x1200 screen, so even the supersized is still like a thumbnail to me. The bandwidth issue should be an option to the subscriber.
Request 720x480 DivX or XviD on ALL high definition agonys!
320x240 for VHS submitions.

Hey we're paying for that bandwidth! Actually we are hoping to offer user-selectable bandwidth options soon, though I don't think we'll be going to 720.

I'm not especially fond of this particular OverKill, but I do like the larger format.
Please, keep it up.

I'll take what I can get :-)
Your site is one-of-a-kind! Thanks
