Why not make DVD collections available?

I love the idea of the site but I would prefer to get all the site content at once without the tedium of downloading it all. Why not make a DVD collection available? Or maybe seperate Women collections and Men colections.  You'd save on bandwidth and maybe get more customers that way.

I'd pay about the same as the one month non-recurring membership. DVD also has the advantage of higher resolution and TV playback, which also might draw in people otherwise not interested in joining a site.

Encoding and authoring the DVD(s) wouldn't be more than a couple days work max.

The only possible downside is cannibalizing your potential new (and recent) memberships if almost everyone just buys the DVD instead of joining or renewing. Just take a hard look at how many people buy more than a month membership a year (or ever) anyway and that should tell you if that's really something to be concerned about.

There may be some fulfillment issues at the start whith a surge in initial demand for the DVD, but that should calm down after a while.

We're working on the first DVD's now but they won't be copies of what's on the site, rather, some full length versions of popular Agonies; outtakes; new Agonies by returning contributors, and some special bonus material which will appeal to the more voyeuristic in the audience.

This sounds fantastic. 

May I request that Ms. 48 be included?  She is my all-time favo(u)rite agony, and definitely deserves to be in any compilation.

If BA ever establishes a Hall of Fame...
