I love your website but it's too expensive. This could really be an incredible thing if you made it free and had people contribute/donate. I know that I would like to participate, but I'm not gonna shell out 20 BUCKS a month to you. I like the fact that you started with a great idea but it's kinda like charging for air. I can get all my porn for free off the internet. I do look for the "O" Face in every search it just takes me a little longer that's all.

Good luck and please consider making this a donation website. Don't let Greed sway your Art.

Why is it that everybody always seems to think everything on the Internet should be for free? Most people don't mind shelling out a few bucks to buy an issue of Playboy or to rent a dvd. But as soon as it gets to the Interent the same stuff should cost no money, the internet access included. If you don't want to pay for what you get, why should anybody else give it to you for free?

Just go to your favorite restourant and tell them food is a fundamental human right and they should stop charging their customers. Let's see what happens. Do you think you would still get a decent meal if they made it a "donations only restaurant"?

I doubt R&L are making all that much off the site. For that matter, if they were really "greedy," they would give in to all the posters demanding "full body" views of the Agonees, up the prices, link to some other XXX sources, maybe throw in a 24/7 webcam of some willing couples, and start raking it in.

To echo what Pinguin said, I suggest you go to your local "adult entertainment" bar and ask for a few free lapdances. If you are refused, tell them that you can can see lots of somewhat similiar views of women on the web and that they are being "greedy." As a connoisseur, you deserve donated activity and that three or four ladies should give you dances immediately.

I'd like to hear what you'd tell the bar's bouncer as he ushers you out to the parking lot.

I reckon the phrase "I get all my porn for free off the internet" sums up the problem here. I wouldn't really term the BA content as porn... at least not visually. It's true that if anyone searches the internet purely to get off, then there are ample free porn sites to choose from. However, a viewing of OV0023a-c is a good example that many of the agonies do not regard their contributions as porn but rather as something somewhat original and strangely 'honest'.

But the main reason why I don't think that BA can be compared to porn is that the reasons why I might watch porn or BA are totally different. I think with porn the base attraction is that it feeds some human desire to always push the boundaries of our sexuality... try and think of the first porn you viewed and then ask yourself if you still view the same type of material. I would guess that 90% of us enjoy something stronger than the softcore we perhaps first encountered.

However, with BA it is different. I know exactly what sort of material will be shown from week to week... namely the faces of ordinary people in orgasmic bliss! Yet I still keep coming back. The reason why I 'buy' BA is more similar to why I buy music than why I might purchase porn.

So keep the quality and the fees I say... at least as long as Sterling is this strong against the Dollar anyway

Actually there's a restaurant near here which does exactly that. One of the Agony girls worked there and she said it did quite well. I guess the novelty idea makes people more generous, and also I'd by cynical about whether they declare all their income and pay all the due tax. But walking out of a restauarant without paying is a lot harder then clicking off a website. Sometimes it depresses me just how shitty people will be when they're anonymous. I should post some of the emails we get.

Good quality has its price. BA is best quality and the price is fair! I have no problems by payment if the offer is good. On the other hand, most of the web eroticpages are terrible bu...shi.... and i would not pay a penny for it.

I'd say that the site is excellent value initially. If you like this sort of thing, don't hesitate to sign up. Today that gets you 4.6 gigabytes of video if you get all of the MPEG files. That's something like 26 hours of good technical quality video (I checked only one file, so the error margin on hours is large). Less than a dollar per hour seems well worth paying. If anything the preview videos I saw undersold the rest of the content, so you will get what the previews imply (though the orgasms and previews vary and if only noisy or really active people are previewed at the moment, expect 30% or so of more quiet types).

But only sign up for 30 days, either paying 14.95 and canceling immediately or 19.95 for not recurring.

Initial signup gets that 4.5GB for about 225 megabytes per US$ (if you take the $19.95 option instead of 14.95). Assuming the last 100 are typical, six new videos per week (five plus assumed one overkill) would be about 70 megabytes or 31 cents per week in added content; 23 cents per week at the recurring rate.

Longer periods come to US$2.65 more for 90 (60 more) days or US$14.85 for a year. Or if you go with 14.95 and canceling immediately, to reflect the subscription model, $1.99 and $11.15. Current charges: $15 for 60 more days or $85 for the year. Quite a difference.

I suppose it makes most sense, today, to visit once a year and pick up the 400 or so new videos available then for another US$19.95. Or do it once per quarter and you're still paying less than the premium rate for the quarterly or annual subscription.

For obvious reasons, even though I fully intend to get everything the site offers into the indefinite future, I didn't choose an annual subscription. It simply didn't make financial sense to do so at current rates.

For those not familiar with general transfer rates, a place which transfers something around 15-30 terrabytes per month at 60-90 megabits per second per month pays in the US$75 range per meg/s/month. One megabit per second per month = one thousand megabits per second able to be continuously used for a whole month. Five 14.95 signups a month pays for one megabit/s/month which is enough to transfer 325 gigabytes at 100% use. Or, enough to transfer all content on the site to 70 people. Or enough for each of those 5 subscribers to watch 12 hours per day, downloading directly from the site. Or 2.4 hours per day if 80% of the bandwidth is being used by previews.

Of course, there are all sorts of caveats and other recurring costs involved. Still, the numbers from the subscriber side seem to very strongly favor not subscribing to more than the shortest period offered.
