I've been a member of Bubblegirls on a couple of occasions in the past, though not for quite a long time now. I seem to recall most of the models looked like porn-star types, which is never a good sign, and I wasn't really convinced we were seeing 'real' emotions. So the fault of the Credit Card number being made public knowledge, Either falls with IBill or you. During that time frame. I want to add a small observation about the billers. Since I own a domain and run my own mailserver, I use a different email address for every site (or board, or store, or whatever) I sign up with.

I am absolutely convinced that CCBill and IBill (there are more, like Verotel, BillingServices) sell these addresses off to spammers, or at least that they have done so in the past - I believe CCBill stated to one of the sites they were processing payments for that 'a former employee made off with the email database' - for what it's worth. Spamming does not happen when you sign up, and it does not happen as long as you renew your membership, but as soon as you cancel the subscription, your address (in my case: that specifically created address) gets spammed.

Which is why I wait for the cancellation confirmation to arrive and then deactivate that specific address immediately. Of course, I make a note of which address was used for what, and which biller was involved. It can take anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks, but spam will flow to that address eventually if you signed up with certain billers. They are not reminders or invitations to re-join, they are unrelated spams for other porn sites run by different companies - you know, the ones ending up in Spamhaus blacklists (or simply 'scum', as I call them).

I am not entirely sure whether CCBill will spam the address I used to sign up for this site as soon as I cancel (not anytime soon!). I haven't seen spam delivery attempts to the addresses I created to sign up through them in a while - but I wouldn't blame it on BA if that happened, because the billers (and the scum buying their addresses) are to blame - I do encourage BA to keep an eye on this, though.
