Can optional increased video quality version be made avaible?

I really love the site, and have shared it with several friends (male and female) who also enjoyed the content.  We wouldn't want anything to change, I noticed a topic about more "graphic" videos or something showing the waist up.  This would completely destroy the unusual exoticness of the site.  Porn is easy to find art is not.

Anyway, after all the praise ; would higher resolution videos ever be an option?  I imagine that the raw video is relatively good quality most of the time, but is compressed for internet use.  I would love to see older and newer faces in a higher resolution.  The face is the message, and a distorted pixilated face, is in a way art, but not quite  what I think the site intended.

Of course higher resolutions have many problems, bandwidth hogs (the higher res. should be available for downloading only), eat up precious server space, and in general are more cumbersome in every way.  But I feel the advantage of watching a face on a 17 inch screen as if that person is in the rooms would be a big enhancement without damaging the original purpose of the site.

Just an idea, would love to hear whether people agree or not, and if this is ever something the web-masters would consider of if its just too time and resource consuming.
Anyway keep it up, I really loved vid 193, so did my girlfriend.

As the archives grow, the bandwidth becomes more of a problem.  We're considering DVD release of selected Agonies, and since the originals are all on mini-DV, the quality will be good, though often it's the lighting which lets the clip down, technically.

2 cents from a newbie, I think the idea of an Agonies DVD is a wonderful concept. Totally lovely -- choosing the inclusions would be hellish though!

I would think that making a DVD would require getting the permission of all the submitters. A Bid task I wiould think?

It seems to me that, with today's technology, it wouldn't be very hard to let people create their own DVDs. That is, a simple web form that lets you select the agonies you want on your DVD.

Sure, this wouldn't work in volume, but on a small scall it would be viable.

I'm a "computer guy" and would be happy to help you build such a system.
